Hello
I am a complete beginner, absolutely no prior knowledge, do not even know how to say hello. I would like to visit china in the future. I would particularly like conversationa l skills and can dedicate 2 to 3 hours per week.
I would hope that my teacher was friendly, very patient, but would motivate me to continue, a teacher with personality.

I would like to learn Mandarin to further my career and work with Asian business persons. I have been to Beijing and lived in Singapore during my career moves but found that the communication barrier was the most important one.
I would class myself as a beginner with only Hello and Thank You in my Mandarin vocab skills.
I need to be able to read, write and converse in Mandarin
2 hours a week although i work shift work 4 days on and 4 days off.
I am looking for freindly teacher with cultrual knowledge as well as the ability to teach.
