I am a beginner looking to learn Thai for personal reasons. I would like to be able to write and speak Thai. The ideal teacher is a skilled teacher, knowledgeable in constructing a learning program that will be effective in helping me to learn Thai based on my learning style. I am a visual learner and have a difficult time hearing sounds. Initially, learning through conversation will be difficult.

My proficiency in speaking/read ing/grammar/ec t in Thai is non existent. I'm a beginner at best. Only Thai I know is common curtsy hello, thank you, delicious, ect. So I would be starting from square one. I'm interested in learning to speak Thai for a few reasons. One being that I am fascinated by the culture and have been there to visit a few times. The friends I have there are either native or speak Thai very well so I have never had to learn out of necessity. I plan to visit again this year and would like to be more self sufficient in my travels. I'm willing to spend a considerable amount of time on learning if I have the right teacher. I am mainly looking to learn conversationa l Thai, if I excel and the teacher is good, maybe it will evolve into more. For a teacher I have only simple requests, patient, understanding and someone who not only knows language but the culture as well.

I am a beginner and am very interested in learning to read and write Thai adn thereby learn to speak Thai. I am doing it for personal reasons and can dedicate 4-6 hrs a week for this. I am looking for someone that can dedicate enough time to teach me the language and navigate me from the basics to a very advanced level over time.
