I have a desire to start learning the Russian language. Currently, I am a student at North Harris College in the Spring side of Houston, studying to be a licensed American Sign Language interpreter for the Deaf. I would gain an associate's degree in the interpreting program. Afterwards, I'm wanting to transfer to University of Texas in Austin in Fall 2008/Spring 2009 to major in Russian studies and Russian history for my bachelor's. I want to start learning now so that I will have a good background in the Russian language before I get to UT in Austin.
