I am an eighth grade student looking to take Mandarin for a high school credit starting next year. I live in Haddonfield, New Jersey, which is located four miles from Philadelphia on the PATCO side of the highspeed line. I had taken 3-4 years of Mandarin already with the Chinese School of South Jersey, but I have forgotten most of what I had learned. Would you be willing to come to Haddonfield to teach Chinese? There might be a possibility of a few other students wanting to learn Chinese as well.

I am learning foreign languages for enjoyment. I want to be able to speak in many of them fluently, and be able to travel with ease given this skill. I am currently a beginner in all, save for English (my native language). I would like to be very well learned in each and every language I know. I can give 1hr of my week (4-7PM Mon-Thurs) to personal lessons, and have plenty of time to study through the rest of the week. I wish to find a teacher who is flexible and understanding , in terms of my ability to grasp linguistics.

I studied Russian in college. I have taken 2 and 1/2 years of Russian. I am hoping to return to university to complete my M.A., but it has been ten years since my last course in Russian. I struggle with the jump between year two and three. It is hard for me to think in Russian. I am looking for a teacher who will help me identify where I am at and what areas I need to work on. I prefer a patient instructor. I am looking at half hour bi-weekly lessons, or one hour weekly sessions.
