Right now I know absolutely no Russian. I've started to learn the alphabet sounds on my own and listening exercises to get used to the cadence, but I know I'll need help to actually learn effectively. I don't have a specific purpose for learning other than that it's something I've always wanted to do.
As an ESL teacher (my day job) I know what works best for most students. I would like the presentation of a new concept or vocab introduced in a contextualize d way. Practise exercises, extra work etc. I am willing to buy any text you think would be a good base to follow and am able to afford about 2 hours/week of face-to-face instruction.

Hi! My name is Chelsea and I am a 24 year old student. I am currently in my third year of studying social work and feel that being fluent in Spanish would allow me greater career opportunity. I also love travel and would love to be able to communicate more clearly in Latin American countries. My boyfriend would also like to learn Spanish for similar reasons, so we would be interested in taking lessons together. I would currently consider myself to be a beginner. I recently returned from 3 months of backpacking in South America and was speaking Spanish fairly well however I have never studied proper grammar, sentence structure, etc. I am willing to donate a great amount of time to learning Spanish. I would like to find a teacher who can connect me with resources such as film and music to incorporate the language into my life. I am looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic and patient. It is also important that lessons be cost efficient as I am a student.

French language teacher wanted in Senegal, Cameroon or Guinea
I wish to take intensive French language study by living and studying in a French speaking country such as Senegal, Cameroon, or Guinea.
I am interested in moving to one of these countries to study French for a full year. My goal is to become fluently bilingual.
I wish to study 5 hours per day, 25 hours per week for 8 months. I need to learn grammar, conversationa l and written French.
I am on a very limited budget. I can only undertake this study if I can make arrangements for low-cost study. important to me.
