Spanish - this is my third term learning Spanish. I am the level above beginner. I need to focus on conversation - repeated conversation so I can get accustomed to the differnt sounds and able to answer correctly (taking notes for back up). I would want to have one hour, one to one tutoring, per week.
The qualities that I would prefer is someone who has tremendous patience and understanding and would enjoy teaching a 50 year old who is a 'slow learner' but very keen. Being able to answer many questions without it being too much of a hassle and also being able to explain in different ways to enable me to understand.

Hi,
My name is Katie and I am a medical student. I want to learn Urdu because there are so many Asians here it would be useful when I am a doctor. I have never learnt any before - I don't even know how to say hello. I would like weekly lessons, either at evenings or weekends for maybe 2-3hours. I already do French classes on Thursdays, but any other day is fine. I find I learn best when I can speak in class and be asked questions, so a class with conversation would be great.

I have attended two terms of an evening class in Italian and have been doing some home study using the Teach Yourself Beginner's Italian book and tapes. My reason for wishing to learn Italian is that I love visiting the country, have a friend who is Italian and I would love to be able to hold a conversation with people I meet there. At the moment my ability is limited and I know I would benefit from encouragement and direction in my studies. I would like help with conversation and grammar - reading and writing seem to help my understanding .
I could devote several hours a week to lessons - say an hour a day - what I feel I really need right now is some guidance and direction with grammar and sentence construction.
Ideally I would like contact with a tutor in the Stirling area - or some place within a 20 mile radius of Dollar. Perth would be fine as well. Thank you.
