To whom it may concern,
I am looking for a language tutor in Arabic to come to my home in Manhatten on either Saturdays or Sundays to give me private lessons. I am a complete beginner and only know romance languages (i.e. English and French).
I am planning to go to Jordan in early March and would like as much instruction as possible in order to try and understand both written and conversationa l Arabic. I would like to begin classes at the beginning of Jan.
As well if someone is teachng very small groups beginners Arabic in Manhatten I would be interested in signing up.

I am interested in beginner Hindi to help converse better with friends from India. I am also interested in learning grammar and writing properly. I live in Westchester and teach school in the Bronx, so the location has to be easily accessible for me by public transportatio n. If you could tell me where you are located and how you approach teaching (do you use a textbook?) that would be great.

i studied spanish in high school for 4 years and italian in college for about 2 years. i was somewhat fluent in italian but stopped speaking it some years ago, although i can still understand it. i understand spanish somewhat but for some reason, its a little more difficult. i want to learn spanish at this time because it seemed more likely that i could absorb the language quickly, now that i live in a spanish speaking neighborhood and have many friends and acquaintances who speak spanish. also, it's a little dream of mine, to go to cuba to study the language and the music.
