Greetings.
My name is Paul Cummins and I am 46 years old. I would like to learn Mandarin because I wish to travel to China in mid to late February for business purposes. I am going there to identify suitable manufacturers to provide a product I wish to import to Australia in bulk. I believe it is important for me to learn the language firstly as a mark of respect to people whom will be a critical factor in my business and secondly because it will make my taskeasier while in China. In the longer term I beieve being able to speak Mandarin will be of great value for the development of future business opportunities . I am a total beginner with regard to proficiency. As I am self employed I have at least two full days per wek to dedicate to learning Mandarin. Thank you.

Hi,
I have a very basic understanding of Manderin and I would like to develop this. The two major reasons why I would like to learn the language is for business and interest.
I would be at a beginner level - basically I have had lessons before but have forgot most of it. I lived in Shanghai for 6 months so I am familiar with the language but at a basic level.
I would like to start with two 30min private lessons or a 1 hour one per week.
I would like a teacher that is flexible in their teaching style. I would like to concentrate on verbal communication .
