I am a beginner, and I have a Russian wife. We spend time apart as she works in Prague and I work here in the UK. She speaks good english and when we are together then teaching me Russian is the last thing she wants to do. I also need to learn Czech as for the next year I will be commuting between here and Prague until finally settling down, probably in Prague.

I am learning welsh at school and i want to learn russian. Iwant to learn russian because it will help me later in life and i have always wanted to learn a unusual language. i am still at school and could make leasons once a week. i wouldnt mind a 1hour-2hour leason every week with sheats i can take home to learn at home. I am hoping to get flurent at the russian when i have enough leasons, and if i am good enough maybe some GCSE degree as well.

I have just graduated from Durham university with a first in German and Russian. I have only been learnign Russian for 3 years though and would like to become as fluent as possible. I am hoping to go to St Petersburg for about 6 months after Christmas 2006. In the meantime I would love any opportunity to be able to practice speaking the language. I am looking for conversation practice, plus assistance in grammar questions as they come up from private study. How regularly I would be looking to have a lesson would depend somewhat on cost.
