I am a beginner/inte rmediate learner of the Czech language. I lived in Liberec CZ for 9 months and loved the language and would like to further my skill with it. Currently I am doing some self study from books and speaking with my girlfriend who is a native Czech speaker from Morava.
I know some basic phrases and vocabulary, and my grammar is starting to improve. However my conversationa l skills are lacking.

I am learning Czech because my mom is from Céske Budejovice and is a native speaker. I was raised in Canada and did not learn the language. I will be spending every summer in the Czech Republic and want to be able to fluently speak to my family. I will be dedicating the next

My husband is Czech, and we have been married for just under 2 years. His parents don't speak English, and are still in the Czech Republic. I'd really love to be able to communicate with them, and to eventually partner with my husband to teach our children how to speak Czech in order for them to speak with their grandparents. It is difficult setting time aside at home, being a stay-at-home mom, to learn Czech, and perhaps a more formal 'class' would help me. I'm looking for a weekly class, and of course lots of practice at home with my husband.
