I'm wanting to learn dutch because I would like to eventually go to school there. Also I have family in the Netherlands I'd like to communicate better with. I have no knowledge of the language other than a few words. I'd like to spend a few hrs a week learning dutch.

I want to learn Dutch because my grandfather is from holland and I think it would mean a lot to him if I tried to learn his first language. My proficiency is beginner because I have never spoke Dutch before. The areas that I really want to work on are a little bit of grammar but what I really want to be able to do is have a conversion. I would like to start off only and hour and if I decide for longer we shall, and only once a week as I am a very busy person. The qualities I am looking for in in my teacher is someone positive and not always negative, and the qualities in my lessons are positve feedback and when I have something wrong to tell me a in positive way because I learn better if its a positive environment.
