I have completed 101-103 at the Canadian Hearing Society and am looking to continue with my studies of Sign Language. Right now they do not have anyone to teach the next level.
I'd like to learn more about conversationa l Sign. I know a lot of words but am not very comfortable with conversing with a Deaf person. I would like to be more comfortable with that asspect of it.
I am willing to spend 2 or 3 nights a week learning more sign.
What I am expecting from the teacher is paticence and willingness to teach.

I am a University student at the University of Ottawa
I am a beginner of all languages other than English
I would like to learn other languages to move forward in who I will be able to help once I am finished University
I am unable to converse, read, write, or understand any other language and I feel that it is about time I broaden my horizon in that area
I am able to spend time on one language at a time in between my studies a couple times a week
I would like someone who is patient, flexible in hours and able to cater to their students needs; also is fairly close to the university of ottawa
