I come from a Pakistani household where urdu is spoken rarely. I do have a general understanding of the language and can mostly understand, however when it comes to speaking there are many areas I need to improve. I would just like to learn the basics and be able to have conversations with others in Urdu. I would say I am a little more advanced than a beginner. In terms of qualities in a teacher, I would just like someone who can help me work on my accent and vocabulary and pronounciatio n.

Hello my name is Shauna I have married into a pakistani family and would like to learn urdu, I understan a lot and can speak, but I am not a the level where I can have a full out conversation. I want to be able to go to Pakistan this year and understan everything everyone is saying :) reading and writing are not that important to me I would like to focus on speaking.
