I am learning Greek because I am currently in an relationship with a Greek person and love Greek culture. I am only a beginner and do not know how to speak the language (though I have taken some beginning online courses). I would like to have lessons weekly. I'm an American who likes to spend a lot of time in Greece. I've picked up some basics of Greek, but would like to learn more so that I can get around more easily and have basic conversations with people I meet. I know the alphabet and basic phrases to get along. My food vocabulary is pretty good, too. Right now, I want a few refresher classes focused on speaking to catch me up before I leave town in July, but I might like to continue after I get back in September. I only have time for one or two lessons a week (1 to 1.5 hours each) right now. I'd like a friendly teacher who is open to sharing some cultural knowledge as well.
