I'm hoping to take Serbo-Croatia n lessons to better communicate with my family in the Balkans and for future professional opportunities . I studied the language for two years at University and would like to improve my skills. My grammar is good but my confidence in speaking is very low, so this is an area I would like to focus on. As a journalist I would also like to better understand news articles from the region. I would be interested in weekly one-on-one classes.

I would like to improve my knowledge of Bosnian/Croat ian/Serbian. I am a research student and need to be able to access sources in BCS (newspaper articles, scholarly texts, news reports, films). I wanto learn Serbo Croatian/Bosn ian as I have an interest in the region and am travelling there later in the year. I am a complete beginner although I can communicate in five other languages other than English so I don't envisage a problem picking up the basics and being able to hold a simple conversation, certainly by the time I go there.
1 or 2 lessons a week would be ideal, a couple of hours at a time. As far as what I am looking for in a teacher, I suppose a native speaker would be best.
