Description	Sa-bai-dee deu. I have a good friend from the UK who has been living in Lao PDR for 12 years now and every year I visit I come away wishing I could speak more of the language than just 'hello' or 'thank you'. His Lao friends and family have been so welcoming and have spoken in English with me wherever possible. I would like to repay the favour by learning as much Lao as possible before I return there at the end of 2007. If I cannot find a Lao teacher, then I would like to learn Thai since most Lao people I have met can understand and speak Thai very well. I would like to learn everyday useful phrases and conversation. I am prepared to dedicate 2 sessions a week to learning. I would like the lessons to be fun and informal.
