I am an absolute beginner to Urdu. I would like to learn Urdu because it reaches a broad spectrum of other languages. I also want to use is as a gate way language to Persian an Arabic. I was born in Australia and only speak english however due to personal reasons I feel it necessary and a matter of respect that I learn Urdu so I may be able to converse fluently and understand Urdu within my family. I require to learn everything to do with grammar and speech.
It is extremely important to learn Urdu and as such will devote much time to lessons and self-learning . To me having a patient and understanding teacher is important and would help to facilitate my successful learning. The teacher should also be friendly and dedicated to teaching.
