I'm trying to help a friend who has just come to the States from Serbia. She speaks very minimal English and needs to learn more in order to communicate at work. In particular, she needs to improve her basic conversationa l skills. In terms of how much time she wants to dedicate to language lessons, she could do an hour of lessons every day. Need to learn more because I go to Hunter college and i am trying to finish my accounting major.
The areas I need to concentrate on are grammar and conversation.
I want to dedicate as much time as possible, maybe an hour a day..or two a day.
I need a tutor who will be patient with me and help me out alot because I really need conversation skills and grammar skills. Please be patient with me, I am not a young person who is able to learn easy, I am a mother of two daughters and I need someone who will understand me and be patient with me.
