I have visited Denmark twice innthe last 2 years and have fallen in love with the people and culture! I want to learn Danish so I can speak it during future visits or possible short term work there. Danish people have made it easy for me to get around and visit Denmark by speaking my language and in some ways I want to return that respect by speaking theirs. I am a beginner in Danish. Hello,
My name is Michael. I'm 46 years old. I've been learning Danish for a few days using Duolingo. I'm reaching out to you because the lessons are not ideal. I'm brand new, and this will be my second language. Duolingo has left me confused about a number of things.
I first came into contact with this interesting language when I was a boy. I had an obsession with Denmark at that time. I made a long distance phone call to someone in Copenhagen named Margaret Jasper. We talked for about an hour and she taught me how to say and write bjørn. The years went by and I had forgotten about dear Margaret and the city I wanted to visit. learning this language would be a wonderful experience for me. I sincerely hope you would be willing to accept me as a student.

I am learning my foreign language for possible citizenship reinstatement and also to help me understand my culture and roots. My proficiency level is probably intermediate. I know the alphabet and some basic terms and grammar but cannot hold full conversations . I need particular improvement in grammar, conversation, and testing. I am willing to dedicate several months to my lessons bu need to be proficient by august for my citizenship application. Some one who knows their stuff!
