My ability in Norwegian is low, but given time I can phathom the jist of the written, by utilising a basic level of German. I am also looking to extend my German.
I' d like to have at least one lesson in each, per week. Preferably in person. Have VW (nicknamed the viking longship), will travel. :)
I'd like to start from the very beginning in both Norwegian and German, with a tutor or tutors, that can be as flexible in progress as my ability allows. I.e., should I excell or wade slowly, in either language, my tutor could work with me. I feel I might be able to remember the German language I was so fluent in, until I was 6 years old and moved to England. Army brat ;)
I have Norwegian in my family and I'd like to make them proud of me, when I finally get to visit and perhaps move there. Fluent enough to work in a shop or bar, to start with.
I was born in Germany and would love to get back to the fluent level I attained when I was so young. Out of respect also, for the Germans in my family. Again, to a standard that would allow me to work in a shop or bar, should I move there to live.

I am interested in two different one on one trainers
I would like to speak German correctly. I lived in Germany for 8 years and I speak German like I speak English.
I would like to speak spanish. I took Spanish years ago in highschool. I believe I am an intermediate beginner with Spanish.
I found your school by searching the internet. I have one other shool that I have inquired with. I have left a message, they should be returning my message soon.

One of my life goals is to be able to speak 2 other languages at the near-fluient level. I have a long ways to go, but have recently begun to pick up the drive again.
Ger man - I have 1 year of highschool German under my belt, just enough to be frustated and craving to learn more. The only reason I want to learn more is to have a broader vocabulary and capability to carry out basic conversations . #4
Japanes e - I have a very limited vocabulary, all one or two word phrases. I love the Japenese culture and find their language to be equally appealing. #1 in my prefered languages to learn.
Man darin - 0 knowledge and vocabulary, but the language is highly appealing to my tastes. #3 in my prefered languages to learn.
Any language I learn will be fully for self-fufillme nt of a life goal. With all of the languages my main goal is to be able to carry on a conversation over a broad area of general topics and a couple specific topics. As such, grammar and conversation is key.
I am willing to dedicate my weekends to study, as well as a few weeknights as well. My current employer is the US Navy, so there will be times of extended absence as well as a potental 6 month deployment in the future. All of my classes will have to be held in the eavning on weekdays and anytime is available on the weekends. Scheduling will have to be worked out specifically to tailor to a sailors hectic lifestyle...
Qualities of my teacher? I am not looking for a professor with a doctorate in their respective language, however, I do expect my teacher to be able to answer any question I have to ask (even if a little research is involved) and to have a fluient grasp on most aspects the subject at hand. A rigid silibus is not necissary nor is a detailed and complete list of activities. All I desire is a teacher with a small flair of excitement and the ability to present thier knowledge in an interesting way.
