I am learning Italian because I spend about half of the year in Italy. I am a beginner student without formal lessons or classes. I need improvement in all areas. I would like to spend up to four hours a week in lessons depending on affordability . I am looking for a flexible language teacher who can adapt lessons to my needs and can give me exercises or assignments to work on Italian skills outside of lesson time.

Why I am learning Italian: My parents are from Italy and I am looking to increase my vocabulary, improve my grammar, reading and writing.
M y proficiency level: advance.
A reas I feel I need particular improvement: congiuntivo, periodo ipotetico, uso di 'ne', pronomi e pronomi relativi.
Time I want to dedicate to language lessons: about 1 hour per week for the lesson. Additional time as needed for homework and preparation for the next lesson.
Qu alities I am looking for in my lessons/teach er: someone willing to adjust lessons plans based on my needs, someone with clear explanations, someone who does not slow down their speech too much (just speak normally), someone who does not use exercises (ie fill in the blank exercises) from a book, someone willing to spend all the time needed on a topic (until I get it), someone patient & has a sense of humor, someone willing to let me do a lot of the talking (learner focused lessons) and someone who is a native speaker.
