I would like to learn to speak Italian so I can be conversant and read in that language. Ideally I could meet once a week and give the time necessary to learn Italian.

I bought the 501 Italian Verbs book, because I already speak fluent Spanish at an extremely high level and since Italian and Spanis are so similar I decide I would teach myself, but I have no one to practice with or to judge my skill level. I would prefer to have a native teacher, who could help me learn some basic grammar, idiomatic dialect and allow me to speak Italian, at level comparable with my fluent Spanish. I would like to take maybe 2 1-3 hour lessons per month, at a price around $20-35, with some assigned materials so I can progress in a principally self-guided manner. At this point I would put myself in the novice level,with most of my skills coming from my knowledge of Spanish, and so I am not a complete beginner

I've taken a year of beginning Italian in college and can't stop wanting to learn more. I learned present tenses, and was introduced to passato prossimo, imperfetto, and future tenses.
I want to keep learning Italina because I simply love it..
I need to learn more of the norms in speaking the language, the nuances, anything beyond the beginning level of Italian.
Aro und 5 hours of class a week would be great.
I'm looking for a native Italian speaker, someone who is well experienced and organized.
