I have been using Rosetta Stone, but I am wanting to supplement this with 1-2 lessons per week with someone who can give me customized feedback and advice. Hello! I'm looking for a tutor to help me with Al-Fusha. I've completed Al-Kitab 1 and 2 and am returning to college in September and will begin Al-Kitab 3 then. I'm a good Arabic speaker and learner but want to really solidify my knowledge before I return.
My strengths are speaking, writing, and grammar, but I'm not as good with vocabulary (especially verbs). I hope to meet once or twice a week and hopefully in the times in between that I hope that I can correspond in Arabic with my tutor.
The kind of tutor that I'm looking for is nice, patient, and enthusiastic.

I am an avid traveler and I like to learn the basics of the native language in the countries that I visit. I am also interested in language in general, so I want to take my learning beyond the phrasebook level. I am always interested in reading and writing, as well as speaking.
My proficiencies are as follows:
A rabic - no experience
Manadarin - recognize some kanji, but don't know Chinese readings
J apanese - can read and write just a little, speaking is intermediate and listening is a little better than that; I would really like to improve reading and grammar
Fr ench - listening or reading, I can understand most things; my speaking is not as sharp, so I'd like to improve that and vocabulary
