My daughter and her classmates have been studying Japanese at their school since kindergarten. They will be entering the 6th grade in Fall 2009. The schools they will be attending do not offer the Japanese language. Us parents are interested in finding them a tutor/instruc tor that can help them continue to learn and develop the language.

I have been studying Japanese for about a year and a half. I have been learning through books, music, internet. I am trying to learn Japanese so that I can go to Kanazawa art school. I will dedicate as much time as it takes to learn. I want my teacher to be from Japan, or someone who has lived there for at least a couple years.

I'm currently learning Japanese now, however I'm learning on my own, so far for 2 months so I'm still a beginner.
I wish to learn Japanese because not only is it fun to speak in another language, but it also would help me when I leave the united states to live in Japan.
Grammar is more of my problem, however I'm really interested and would spend qaulity time learning something that I will put to use so that I can live in another language besides my native one.
What I feel makes a great teacher is one that don't rush the lessons, but teach with enthusiasm and motivates the student along the way.

I am employed by a Japanese automotive supplier and wish to learn Japanese. Though I am immediately interested in speaking, I would also like to learn how to read and write in Japanese. I am looking for instructions in the Japanese language for a high school student who is very interested in learning the language and plans to one day visit Japan. We need someone who is proficient in the language, preferrably one whose native language is Japanese.
