Description	I am a beginner and would like to advance my language studies. I would like to spend at least a few hours a week with a teacher one on one and subsequent days studying. Qualities I would like to see in a teacher are proficient knowledge of the language (if not native), a way to make learning fun and interesting. Areas I feel I need help in are conversationa l skills and stringing sentences together.

Description	Beginner I am first generation norwegian living in seattle, but my father never taught my sister or I. I would like to learn the language because it is part of my heritage as well as to be able to converse with family members and friends in norwegian. I travle to norway periodicaly but do not have any current plans to visit in the near future maybe the summer after next. I have researched classes in the area and haven't found any. I am looking to meet once or twice a week for 1 to 2 hours each meeting depending on what works best.
