I'm trying to 're-learn' Persian (Farsi/Dari, the dialect makes no difference to me as it's written the same and I can understand between both dialects) mainly because 10 years ago I learned it (a vast amount of it at least, but not everything there is to know in the language). I recently realized that I hadn't forgotten all of it. I can still read and write in Persian, albeit comprehending everything that I can read is another story. I'm probably somewhere in between a beginner and intermediate level and would like to progress, which is hard to do on my own.

My fiance is Persian and it is important to both of us for our future children to be able to speak Farsi. I am a beginner. I can speak a little and understand a little more. I'm mostly interested in learning conversationa l Farsi. I would like to take lessons 2 to 3 times per week. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and excited to help me learn.

I am interested in continuing my french studies. I have previously studied through college and have studied abroad. I have not used the language for years and dont want to loose it. Regarding Farsi; this is the native language of my fathers family. I understand some but cannot speak and would love to be able to communicate with them.
