I am learning a foreign language because I am very interested in being more diverse. Knowing an extra language in today's society is a great advantage. I am interested in learning polish because I love the way it sounds and the way it flows. It has been a desire of mine for a long time to learn Polish. I am a beginner in the language. I have no background at all in this language, however I pick up on languages quickly--for the most part. (i've never tried a language as unique as Polish). I want to improve my conversationa l Polish (sentence structure, verb conjugation, nouns etc). I would be willing to dedicate 3 hours a week for a month or so; perhaps more depending on the way everything is going. I'm very motivated to learn this language. I would like a teacher who can effectivly help me understand more Polish and be able to speak it. (I'm not expecting a miracle, I am sure I won't be fluent anytime soon, however I plan on giving it my all and doing my best in being able to hold a strong Polish conversation)

I would like to learn the Polish language because my boyfriend and his family are Polish. I am definitely a beginner. I only know very few words. I think by learning the language, it would help me communicate better with my boyfriend's family. They do speak English but when they speak amongst each other, I can not understand anything. I am willing to spend evenings and weekends learning the language. In a teacher I am looking for someone who is patient and understanding . English was my second language, so I know how it feels to struggle to learn another language, so I would hope the teacher would have that kind of understanding also.
