I am learning Turkish so that I can work in Turkish television in Istanbul one day. I want to learn basic conversation skills as well as business vocabulary specifically related to media, film, and television.
I would like to find someone who has experience in this field in Istanbul.
I have taken virtual Turkish lessons with various tutors for about a year. I learn very slowly but am making progress. I plan to visit Istanbul soon and I watch a lot of Turkish TV which helps with my pronunciation and comprehension but I am very slow at speaking and forming sentences.
I prefer tutors who use writing and speaking at the same time and a very organized consistent approach because this helps me memorize things and recognize patterns.
