- I am an absolute beginner in Vietnamese.
- I am looking to learn Vietnamese for a better understanding of California and eastern cultures, to improve communication between myself and others, and to (hopefully) pave a path to a future career.
- I need improvement in all areas of the language such as; grammar, conversation, pronunciation , and writing.
- I am willing to spend any amount of time necessary to grasp the language.
- All I need in the lessons is the language to be taught to me, however the instructor sees fit, I'm very good in absorbing information regarding languages. I would appreciate a patient and kind teacher I am not afraid to ask help from.

1st generation American - i have a fluent conversationa l level of speaking, but a very basic (2nd grade) level of reading and even more basic level of writing. I would like to become more proficient in my native language to keep my heritage, as well as to teach and converse with my white husband and my new daughter.
I am willing to spend several hours a week learning. I would like to be taught by someone that speaks the Northern dialect.

I am looking for a teacher who can teach me how to speak vietnamese northern or southern dialect. I am vietnamese but unable to speak it well, so I guess that puts me in a beginners level. I would like to be able to conversate with relatives from here and vietnam... I am willing to put in as much time needed to become fluent. I am self employed so either day or evening lesson works good for me....

I am at the beginner level, however, I have been exposed to the language by vietnamese friends and visits to Vietnam. I would like to learn vietnamese language because I would like to be able to teach english to other vietnamese people that I know as well as speak and write to my friends in Vietnam.
I can dedicate a significant amount of time to learning, but I do work full time. Lessons would have to take place after 5pm or on the weekend.
T he qualities I'm looking for in a teacher are as follows:
-so meone who is patient enough to make sure I can speak and understand the words correctly (i know there are differences in dialects).
- someone who has experience teaching.
