I started learning Kandahari Pashto 11-12 years ago when I was working for the USA in rural Kandahar. I was able to practice with many villagers, but I had not had any formal language training. I have tried off and on to continue with it, but I can't seem to find a teacher that can teach me the basics, e.g. sentence structures. They seems to assume I'm at a higher level, and I have a hard time absorbing it. I would like to get conversationa l, so that I can help refugees in my area.
