I am really wanting to learn Pashto because my boyfriend speaks it and sometimes speaks it to me and i dont understand it. I understand hindi because i grew up watching bollywood movies but pasht o and hindi are two different languages. I'm a beginner i just know how to say ' i love you', 'are you hungry?' and 'are you thirsty?' I want to learn the pronouncation s, grammar, start a conversation; basically the whole nine yards. I want to impress him and maybe even meet his family and also his sister needs help with the doctors and i want to help her. I asked him if he will teach me, but he is kind a judgemental and isn't into teaching me anything and I want to show him no matter if i haven't grew up in a pashto family that i am hard working and a quick learner. As long as it takes i will learn it! I'm hoping that the classes are affordable and the teacher loves her students and can have fun on the other side of learning. Maybe even teach me more with the language.
