I was involved with a weekly study group in Texas before I moved to Saint Louis , I enjoy learning the Scottish Gaelic language and am at a intermediate level . I started learning the language so I could give something of the Scottish culture to my children , I feel it's important to be involved in learning about your heritage. I would be happy just to find some other learners so we could start our own study group , I have enough study material i.e. videos, books, dictionaries etc.

I am searching for an instructor in Gaelic(Scotti sh) for my nine year old daughter who has become intrigued and interested in all things Scottish. We are seriously considering homeschooling our daughter and believe that an interest in learning a language is key to success in that language. She is an absolute beginner as far as her proficiency level goes. I don't know exactly how much time we would be needing from an instructor, but a homeschool schedule would make logistic arrangements easier. We have never gone outside of normal school for any kind of academic instruction, so any advice you have would be welcomed. I would like for the lessons to be fun and engaging. A patient person with a good sense of humor and who is accustomed to children would be a most desirable candidate. Thank you.
