Hello,
I am 24 years old living in Atlanta. I want to learn Gujarati to communicate in Gujarati with my future in-laws.
I am a absolute beginner.
I want to be able to carry a small conversation in Gujarati and pick up on dialects.
I want to dedicate 2-3 hours a week. Maybe more if it can be accommodate.

I am an American trying to expand my horizons and be better able to communicate with close friends and their families who are Indian and speak Gujarati. I would love to travel to India through and volunteer abroad type program and would be fortunate to learn this language before my travel begins. I am very much a beginner and only know a few words.
I would be willing to devote about 7-10 hours a week to this adventure and more depending on what my teacher suggests.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient and willing to focus on conversation rather than reading or writing. Both would be a plus! Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
