First time learners and advance students.
I have 6 years experience teaching modern and ancient greek private lessons. I use a simple method to teach the language in a short period of time.
For advanced students I adapt my lessons to the personal needs.
All of my lessons include the perfect mix of grammar, conversation, vocabulary and application to help the student reach his or her desired level of proficiency.

Teaching Experience

More than nine years teaching experience of Greek as a foreign language and 12 years in teaching ancient Greek. I am also head of teaching of a Greek and Italian organisation that organise during the last 11 years intensive summer courses of Greek language and culture in various places in Greece.

Teacher Training
|
|
|
I have a degree in Greek Philology (ancient and modern Greek language and literature, Athens University). I have also a certification in teaching foreign languages techniques , as well as I have attended several seminars in teaching modern Greek grammar, literature and history. I speak fluently English and Italian and I have a basic knowledge of French and Arabic (egyptian dialect).

Classe s are conducted using Skype.

-If you are living in Athens lessons can be arranged to your place or in my office. A better offer can be made if you need an intensive course or more than two times a week.
GREEK LANGUAGE AND CULTURE SUMMER COURSES IN GREECE
These summer courses are designed for students who want to make rapid progress in their Modern Greek language and deepen their knowledge of Greece and its culture. It offers an intensive language course for beginners, intermediate and advanced level students in 40 hours, divided into 10 days of teaching and includes grammar, reading, speaking, writing and provides also an insight into Greek culture and civilization. Moreover the course is combined with lectures, outdoor activities and various tours helping students get more familiar with contemporary Greek culture. This summer 2012 we learn modern Greek in a unique Greek island. Together we will discover its ancient and medieval history, its crystal-clear beaches and the unique landscape of one of the most beautiful and unique islands of Greece.
