I have been working with several approaches teaching Brazilian Portuguese, including the Communicative Language Teaching and Grammar in Context. The CLT approach is used to teaching second and foreign languages and emphasizes the interaction of both the means and the ultimate goals of learning a language. With the Grammar in Context, the classes are customized according with the student’s needs and capabilities, including reading, speaking, listening and writing sessions.

Program Description

Classes are tailored for your needs, including grammar (verbs, prepositions, adverbs, etc. and its uses) and conversation (pronunciatio n, vocabulary in context, idiomatic expressions, etc.). In the classes we will use different kinds of materials, such as short stories, newspapers, music, videos and others. Furthermore, good conversations are fundamental for all classes!

U sually, I teaching in offices, homes, lybraries. But, each case is a case, and the planet is our limit.
3. How long take to learn Brazilian Portuguese ?
It depends of you previous knowledge of language, native language and how many hours of practice you can to do.
4. And if I don't like your class?
Belie ve me, it is so fanny. But if you don't like it, you don't need charge me anything. It is my garantee.
5. What kind of methodology you will to use?
I use the called communication al approach and grammar in context. In other words, the grammar is explained into the context of its use and the classes are customized according with the student's needs.
6. What skills I can to develop with this methodology?
Speaking, listening, reading, writing and THINKING in Brazilian Portuguese in different contexts and levels in speech.
7. What kind of resources compose the classes?
You will read books, wath videos and movies, listen musics, make records (audio and video), sing songs, simulations, feedback sessions, comment magazines, etc.
8. How long it take for start speaking Brasilian Portuguese with some fluency?
It depends of your dedication, but usually after 40 hours the students can speak Portuguese Brazilian very well.
