I am a qualified and experienced teacher.
I teach English to people from many countries. Some come here to study; some live and work here and hope to become U.K. citizens.
People want to learn and improve their English for many different reasons. I find out what you want, so that I can help you to learn the English YOU need.

Teaching Experience
|
|
|
I currently teach ESOL to adults in a Further Education college and give on-to-one tuition to private students.
I have also worked in an international school, teaching on intensive English courses, preparing for IGCSE, A Level or foundation courses in English, or for PET, FCE or IELTS examinations. My students come from many countries, cultures and mother tongues. They range in age from children to adults, and in English levels from complete beginners, with or without literacy, to advanced.

Cert TESOL (Trinity College, London)
Cert ificate in Further Education Teaching (City & Guilds)
Firs t Certificate for Teachers of Business English (LCCI)

Engl ish is my mother tongue and I speak with a Standard UK English accent.

Q. Can I have lessons in the evening or at the week-end?
A. Yes. We make an appointment for a time that suits us both.
Q. How long are the lessons?
A. 45-90 minutes. You can decide. Two short lessons are better than one that is too long.
Q. Where do the lessons take place?
A. We find a place that is good for you. They can be at my home or at your home. We can go to a public place where you can also practise your English, such as a café or library.
Q. My friend wants to learn English but she has never learned to read or write. Can you help?
A. Yes, I can. I have experience in teaching people who need to learn the English alphabet, sounds and numbers.
Q . When do I pay?
A. You can pay at each lesson or, if you want the 10% discount for 12 hours, you pay at the first lesson.
