Teaching Approach

Students do most of the talking in my lessons. I am there to correct, but I also want you to feel more confident using the language. I also teach you the language through use; you will start speaking immediately, and actually forming words and sentences in the correct way- instead of memorizing them from a book- will help you remember the things we work on vividly.

Program Description

I use a wide variety of puzzles, games and conversationa l subjects to keep lessons interesting. We will talk about everything, and I will gently guide you towards perfect English. I am a native speaker from the U.S.A. and have been teaching here in Bucharest for 3 years.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching English as a foreign language both privately and with a private firm since January, 2008.

Teacher Training

I went through 12 years of public school in the United States, so I learned in classes taught by native speakers for native speakers. For the first 32 years of my life, every conversation occurred in English, so I can discuss any subject whatsoever. I also have a 4-year college degree from the United States.
