_As professor emeritus of Germanics, recently retired and as native speaker, I teach German conversation, etc. in my home (Lake Forest Park, 20 min. north of down-town Seattle, WA, and 20 min. west of Bellevue, WA)to individuals or small groups, with an emphasis on travel in German speaking countries. Further, I translate German texts and older manuscripts from German to English.

Some 50 years of teaching experience of undergraduate courses and graduate seminars at major American and German universities in language, literature and culture. Extensive publications (mostly in German) in professional journals, and books/monogra phs in German.
