Teaching Approach

all lessons are tailored to the needs of the students. With individual tutoring a study plan is agreed according to the requirements of the students. With groups of students, lessons can be more interactive with group exercises and homework tasks set that are designed to stimulate and promote self-developm ent as well.

Program Description

I am a TEFL qualified native English speaker with over 10 years experience teaching. I have different programs to tailor to individual needs of students such as business courses, informal conversationa l English and tutoring to match educational English for schools. Lessons are generally study sessions, with occasional outings or social events designed to improve comfort with the spoken language and interaction between students.

Teaching Experience

I spent three years teaching students in Italy. This included children (following their school curriculum, completing homework in English etc), and I also taught several adult conversationa l classes from a basic level to more advanced. I also ran a business English course, which also included a translation service.

I n the UK I was a tutor for A-Level English students and most recently here in Netherlands I have been tutoring children, as well as providing 1-2-1 adult tutoring in grammar and conversationa l English.

Lessons can be undertaken at my studio, or in your own home. If outside the Haarlem area, please ask for additional transport costs.

Pay ment in cash or bank transfer preferred on a weekly basis. Invoices can be issued if required.

Daytime and evening lessons available. For group lessons, these would normally run in 8 week blocks and 2 weeks notice is required to timetable.
