Teaching Approach

I believe that grammar is an important base, but lessons do not have to revolve around grammar. I also feel that learning should be fun, and that the learner should be able to see the progress they are making week by week.

Program Description

I am a TEFL-certifie d teacher and can tailor lessons to my learners' needs. I studied linguistics at university, so I am well-equipped to help students with grammar and syntax. I taught English for a year in Madrid, so I already have plenty of resources and games to suit learners of all ages.

Teaching Experience

I have over 2 years experience teaching English as a foreign language. In Madrid I worked in a primary school for 6 months and a secondary school for 6 months, as well as at an academy throughout the year. I taught both adults and children. I have some experience in exam preparation and business English.
I also taught at an academy in London for a few months using the Callan method.

Teacher Training

I have a BA in Modern Languages, a TEFL certificate and a MA in Translation.
