Teaching Approach

For students with intermediate or upper intermediate level I usually follow Italian literature (contemporary literature) and I like discussing in Italian touching some important issues of my country....be cause I think that learning a language is impossible without knowing culture and routine. For beginners I prefer focusing on grammar: I know it could be boring, but it's completely impossible learning Italian without a good grammar.
This is a general line of working, but every approach depends on every student. I think a good teacher has to consider the abilities and the characteristi cs of every student to teach as better as they can.

Program Description

I taught my language in Sydney for a year and I taught Latin as well. I am a lawyer in my country so I have a big competency of my language. Usually I follow different approaches depending on the students and the difficulties they have with Italian. This is a diffucult language because the grammar rules are really particular and strict. Anyway nothing is impossible and as I say: 'if it's easy it's not interesting'. As every student knows, to learn a language is a good opportunity to have a window on another country and culture.

Teaching Experience

I taught Italian and Latin as well for more than ten years as a private tutor in my country. I taught Italian in a private school in Sydney (Australia) and I am attending private lessons as well.

2007- 2008 Legal practice in a law firm (Studio legale Avv. VIttorio Tarsia ), specialized in labor law;

2008- 2010 Private tutor of Latin, Maths and Italian language (beginners, intermediate and advanced);
2007-2008 Legal practice in a law firm ( Studio legale Avv. Enrico Volpe ), specialized in labor law;

2007- 2008 Tutor for the University of Bari, Department of Roman Law.

2009- 2010 Economic studies in Dott. Salvatore Sodano Company in Bari;

July 2010 Stage in an gas company (AMGAS SPA) in the law department in Bari;

2010 -2012 Lexical part curator of a new Latin translator software;

2012-2013 Economic studies in Dott.ssa Angela Masiello Company in Bari.

From February 2015 I taught Italian in Dante Alighieri School in Bathurst street, Sydney city.

I am studying certificate IV in marketing at the Apc college.

I don't have particular preference about schedule....h owever we must consider the difference of time between Australia and your country. I can follow my students trought email as well.
I prefer credit card payments.
I am a different teacher becaus my students say I am different. I think you cannot teach properly if you consider this job only as a job....it's a job that needs heart and passion.
