Teaching Approach

My classroom is nested over the Waterworks Valley on which you will enjoy a splendid view. My lessons are conducted in a friendly, relaxing and convivial environment, regardless of your age and ability level!

Program Description

Each student is unique and has a different objective so I do not follow a one size fitsall method: whether you are a grammar passionate or just want to learn some survival basics before a trip, a struggling student or a lover of the French culture, I always adapt myself to your expectations and customize each session to deliver the best learning experience.

- French tutoring:
o individual (one-on-one lessons or via Skype). This can be extended to another student to suit
couples or friends for an additional fee.
o Group sessions (up to 5 students)
o “French Rendez-vous” is a monthly informal gathering of students and friends. It is held the 1st
Saturday of each month from 10:30 to 12:00. Attendance is on a casual basis with no booking
requ ired.
o French exam preparation (University examination or Certification of French Language abilities)
o French pronunciation practice
o Assistance for homework and correction via email
- Translation French to English and English to French
- Interpretatio n and guiding

Teaching Experience

I have a broad experience in teaching in France and Australia, either in schools or privately.
I am enthusiatic and passionate about my mother language and culture - yet demanding and methodical!

Teacher Training

I am a French born teacher. I grew up in Paris and I graduated from La Sorbonne University (MA in Foreign Languages). I further pursued my studies to become an accredited Guide-Interpr eter.

$35 / hour private tuition ($40 from 1st July 2016)
$45 / hour with your friend or relative ($55 from 1st July 2016)
 Group sessions
$20 / hour - Maximum of 5 students per session.
 “French Rendez-vous” $10 participation fee per person.
 Homework and corrections
Homework and corrections will be charged on the basis of time actually spent at the individual tuition rate.
