Hi, I am Katrina, nice to meet you!
I am a native traditional Chinese speaker and I currently work for a US college as a Instructor of Chinese, so I also know simplified Chinese and Chinese. Please feel free to ask me about anything in Chinese, the culture of China and Taiwan, as well as dialects including Hakka Chinese and Fukien Chinese. I majored in International Sustainable Tourism for my master's degree, so I like to give virtual trips to my students in class. :)

1. What is my teaching schedule?
I could teach on weekends! Each lesson would be 45 or 60 minutes depending on how much you could take. Ideally, we can have 1 class on Saturday and another one on Sunday. However, if weekends really don't work for you, we can discuss. Please feel free to contact me during the week to share your progress and questions, I'd be super happy for you by seeing your weekly progress! You will be able to handle a greeting conversation with a native Chinese speaker within a month!
2. What is your payment policy?
I currently use Zelle and PayPal, but if you prefer other apps, please let me know. I would like to be paid weekly.
3. What other relevant experience makes you a more effective teacher?
I am currently a instructor of Chinese at a US college.

Cost of Lessons

First meeting (discussion of your learning needs) is free. This is not an official class, more of a discussion meeting and proficiency test.
Begi nning or intermediate Chinese class (using Integrated Chinese as the textbook): $20 per hour.
Cust omized Chinese lessons (advanced Chinese lessons, business Chinese, study abroad preparation.. .etc) - any lessons that are not using Integrated Chinese as the textbook: $30 per hour.
(If I have to travel to your location, I will discuss the traveling fees with you.)
