I am a professional translator between English and French and a French tutor. My tutoring experience dates back to several years when as I was teaching English as a foreign language to children and young people in particular in the scope of their school syllabi. Over the years, I worked across several profession including childcare, international trade and University administratio n. As I became a freelance translator I also embraced teaching French which is one of my vocations as a linguist. I work with children, teenagers and adults. Currently I teach people from all walks of life, young people as well as adults with a variety of language skills and levels, I adjust to the abilities of the each students and personalise the lessons based on thier specific needs and goals. Overall, classes are based on conversation, it is an enjoyable and efficient way to learn thanks to the interactivity of this approach. I work mostly with Zoom.

Welcome to your private personalised online class of French conversation.
My name is Stéphanie and I am a French linguist specialising in teaching French as a foreign language and working with translation between English and French.
Or iginally from the French West Indies, I worked and lived in a number of English and French speaking countries around the world, including the UK and Ireland for many years.
I am providing some remote webcam classes and I would be very pleased to meet you on Zoom. Skype classes are also possible.
Whether you are already fluent in French or starting from the very beginning, you are very welcome to your online French class which will be designed specifically for you and to fulfil your needs and objectives.
During the first class, we will get to know each other and discuss your French language skills as well as what you wish to achieve if you have any set goals. If you don't, there is nothing wrong with that are there are so many reasons why we want to learn languages and sometimes it is simple out of curiosity, as a cultural experience or a hobby.
If you wish to practice your written skills, we can do some written exercises and write some essays. Or we can stay with the spoken skills only, it all depends on your expectations and if there is anything in particular you wish to work on. In any case, we will ensure that you are on your way to your next level while enjoying speaking French.
