Hi! I'm Sensei Kate. I am a Bachelor's degree holder and is currently staying in Japan for good.
I have been teaching English for 5 years now, both online and man to man type of lectures. I'd be honored to meet new students in my class. My lecture typically depends on each student's level. I use my unique strategy in teaching English in which I call the ADPIE approach. At first, I 'assess' my students level in English through an interview while building rapport. Next, I 'diagnose' the clients level during the first class. Third step, I 'plan' each students individual learning approach and strategies of lesson execution. Fourth, I do my 'intervention s' during the class, such as article discussions, storytelling, free conversations , practice pronunciation , and so on. The last step is to 'evaluate' the students and discover ways to improve there English more and more. |

I'm very easy going, but i prefer only students whom are very serious about learning or practicing english. My lessons plans are a bit hard and so it takes concentration , dedication and studying in order to speak the language correctly. My approach to the student is more verbal with the beginners, with emphasis on phonetic and pronunciation , for intermediated student will be more focus on grammar and composition that the verbal and phonetic, I believed on the student learned speaking the language and then learned to write it. |
