When we learn a foreign language we do it wrong. Most people try to focus on grammar and new words, but all language processes in the brain are subconscious. That means learning it doesn't mean you'll become fluent. Acquiring the langauge, however, is how you become fluent. I use comprehensbil e input to talk about a number of different topics with students, and we will do fun story activities in class to help consolidate new information. |

My way of teaching is very unique because I give a lot of opportunities to the candidates in improving themselves. I make them talk more and more so that even if they make mistakes, they wouldn't feel bad that they've done mistakes, instead they'd self motivate themselves. I'd always give them an on spot topic so that I would know how well they are in their managing skills. Encouragement s, motivations and appreciations are always a part of congratulatin g the candidates. Once a day's class is over, I would tell them to give a recap of the old session in the next class so that they wouldn't forget the concepts or points discussed in every session. |
