I am a languages teacher in La Paz. I have taught Spanish for 20 years now and have taught English before that also. I have worked as a free lance, teaching only Spanish for such a long time. I created a private Spanish school a few years later I started teaching, and I got a great part of my students through my school's website, travellers' guidebooks and multiple recommendatio ns as well.
Conseq uently, I have a lot of experience teaching Spanish to foreigners. I developed my own particular teaching style by having pleasant conversations and discussions with my students during the lessons and transmitting them my knowledge of the language to thousands of them all of this time.
I think that my teaching method and style has been quite effective with most of the students who approached to me looking for Spanish instruction and I feel I have done a great job contributing with the growing population of Spanish speakers in the world, who speaks Spanish as a second language.

My approach is to keep the student active and start slowly speaking from day one along side basic grammar explanations that help to understand the logic of the language. I use both everyday life topics as well as topics that the student have interest on to engage in conversation. If the student have already some basic level I help to find various methods that help to continue learning. |
