I always organise the lessons according to students' needs, level and personality. I combine speaking with grammar, reading, writing and listening, always focusing on each student's needs and difficulties. My method combines grammatical explanation of the rules put into practice and natural immersion of the learner into the language. I have a genuine and passionate interest in my country and its language, and I am sure that this passion will reflect during the lessons. The time length depends on the learner, and the teaching method can always be under discussion, depending on the individual needs and preferences of each student. I generally support entertaining teaching methods and find it particularly important to boost the student's interest in several ways. Individual notes and exercizes will be provided, as well as short tests and essays (if needed). Online discussion is also possible, in case the student needs further advice. Greek is a difficult but challenging and beautiful language, and I'm willing to reveal this beauty through the lessons. Lastly, it has to be noted that I have previous, succesful, experience with high school students of age 10-16. |
