I usually like to combine the study of grammar with the pleasure of reading a book, a magazine article, listening to music and trying to understand its content or watching a movie. I find it really more useful to learn a language as a linving thing and not only as a subject to be studied as history. |

In my classes I use a very practical and engaging teaching approach that involves the learners using the language as much as possible. I use a lot of repetition at the beginning to help learners build their confidence and develop native-like pronunciation of sounds and words, which helps to provide a strong foundation for later learning. I also try and get learners to communicate in the language as soon as possible, as that is their ultimate goal. Finally, I encourage them to take ownership of their own learning, by doing some needs analysis and getting them to review and practice at home. |
