As said above, different approaches are used to teach different contents. Students of different age groups are also taught with different methods. For young students, games are necessary, but they only come after they have done some boring but essential tasks. For older students, brain-stormin g, acting, discussions and even debates will help them use and master the language. Of course, when it comes to grammars and vocabulary, it can be a little inflexible with a lot of blank-filling , concluding and making sentences or dialogues under certain conditions. I am always observing students' reaction to the tasks I give them, so I can always revise my tasks to be worth challenging. |
